A characterful late Victorian/early Edwardian oak chest of drawers, dating from around 1890–1910. Featuring two short over three long graduated drawers, decorative metal drop handles, brass keyhole escutcheons and attractive turned bun feet. The drawer fronts have been carefully refinished to improve previous heavy marking, creating a warm contrast with the darker original finish retained to the frame and mouldings. A solid, practical period piece with generous storage and plenty of antique charm.
